Luminance Measurement System luca
Fast and easy: The spatially resolved luminance measurement evaluates all sorts of optical systems, for example control elements, LED-displays or interior and exterior lighting. The system offers a vast variety of applications – thanks to its high dynamics of almost six decades. Objects of very low luminance (only a few cd/m2) can be measured as well as powerful light sources as for example high-pressure discharge lamps. The attachment of adequate neutral filters extends the measuring scale even more.
The measuring system runs on the basis of a cooled measuring camera – also available uncooled. A specially fit photometric filter belongs to each system and delivers a digital image of the measuring scene with 12 bit digitalization depth – extendable to 20 Bit by software support. The measured image is exported to the measuring computer that evaluates it. luca is available with a standard Fire Wire interface or a proprietary interface with PCI-plug-in card.
